Couples seek counselling for many different reasons. My approach to practice with couples is tailored to your unique needs and goals, whether you seek short-term intervention to navigate a single issue or event, or you seek in-depth support regarding more complex or ongoing challenges in your relationship. I draw primarily from Emotionally Focused Therapy as well as Gottman Method Couples Therapy to help you gain greater clarity, authenticity, and healthier interactions, in the process of working towards your specific goals.
Through our work together, I’ll shed light on your interaction and communication patterns and identify areas of strength and areas that may be creating challenges to your sense of connection, intimacy, and mutual understanding. I’ll support both you and your partner(s) to explore your own thoughts, feelings, and interaction patterns, and to actively practice and experiment with more meaningful ways of engaging and responding to each other in and out of session.

Every individual is truly unique. For this reason, my approach to practice is individually tailored to you. The kinds of questions I’ll ask you, the recommendations I’ll propose for our work together, the timeframe of your engagement in therapy, as well as the tools and techniques I offer in session, will all be based on your specific needs and goals. As a team, we’ll collaborate to come up with a plan for how we’ll work together in service of what you’d like to accomplish.
My approach to individual counselling draws primarily from mindfulness practices and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Depending on your specific goals, in our work together I’ll help you identify the thoughts, feelings, and situations that you’re struggling with, and learn new techniques for managing these, so they no longer get in your way, overwhelm you, or hold you back from engaging in life. In addition, I’ll support you in figuring out what your values are in life and how you can live these values moment-to-moment to experience greater fulfillment.

Individuals
Each session is 50 minutes long and will be held virtually from the comfort of wherever you are, across Quebec and Ontario. Sessions take place on weekdays between 8am-4pm.
The session fee is $160 for couples and $140 for individuals. A receipt will be issued for your insurance.
